Synergy!

That awesome energy

Bursting forth

When two souls truly meet.

Complete

Belief and trust

Transcend

Those sad norms of the society

In which we live

And to which we give

Far too much of our lives.

In the process,

Many become obsessed by

The paranoia to own and possess

One another.

Yes!

We're often caught in that mere hive

Of pure economic activity!

And we,

Like most

Become blinded from the ability

To simply see

Our soul-mate

For who they really are.

We easily become less

Of what we could have been.

Chasing dreams;

To be seen to be succeeding.

Oh! For the ability

To pause;

To ponder;

The magnificence and the true joy

Of being together.

The ability to see

Eternity together as a reality.

To be free enough to say;

"I truly trust you."

To be near enough to say;

"I need you."

To be secure enough to say:

"I will love you forever."
