A COLD AND LONELY PLACE

 

Life’s a cold and lonely place

When you’re not close enough for me

To look into your eyes

And say, “I love you”.

 

It’s a wet and windy world

When I can’t hold you,

Touch you

Feel your warmth

And tell you

I'LL be yours

Forever

 

It’s a damp and dreary day

When I can’t hear your laughter

Nor bask in the sunshine

Of your smile

And hear you say

“I know”
